Start with a traceable record
For each quality process, identify the owner, procedure and dated evidence. Link the record to the mapped requirement and document what a reviewer accepted, questioned or still needs.
What Fencia calculates
A person links evidence and records decisions; the workspace calculates internal readiness from that state. The document scanner does not assess files against ISO 9001, and the result is not a certification.
Review the 2026 transition
A qualified owner must compare the current 2015-based map with the new edition before using it in an external assessment. Fencia has not yet remapped its requirements to ISO 9001:2026.
Example: a changed AI support process
A support team introduces an AI assistant for ticket triage. The quality manager records who owns the process, which answer types require human review, where staff instructions live and when the procedure was last tested. Those dated records can be linked to Fencia's existing ISO 9001:2015-based map. Before a 2026 assessment, the manager compares the map with the new standard and updates the underlying evidence. This is a planning example, not a claim that the assistant or organization conforms to ISO 9001.
Evidence to gather before a review
- A named process owner and the approved procedure for the AI-supported work.
- Versioned instructions, training records and changes to the procedure.
- A record of how output quality is checked and how exceptions are handled.
- A documented comparison between the 2015-based map and ISO 9001:2026, led by a qualified reviewer.
Common questions
- Does Fencia assess ISO 9001:2026 today?
- No. Its registry still uses the 2015 clause structure. The new edition needs a reviewed, versioned product mapping before Fencia could describe 2026 coverage.
- Can this map replace a certification audit?
- No. It helps organize internal evidence and questions. Certification requires the applicable external process and a qualified certification body.
