Before you trust a number

Readiness is an internal work indicator, not a legal compliance score or certification. ISO/IEC 42001 is mapped from evidence and decisions, not scanned from documents.

Is this a compliance score or a certification?

Neither. It is an internal work indicator: how much of each framework is backed by evidence and decisions on record. It is not a legal opinion or an auditor's conclusion.

How is it calculated?

Each requirement has a state — met, needs review, missing evidence, gap, undetermined or not applicable — from your systems, evidence and findings. Proposed evidence counts once a person confirms it.

Which frameworks are included?

The EU AI Act and the GDPR apply unless you record why not. Voluntary standards such as ISO/IEC 42001 count only once you adopt them.

Why do some findings not count yet?

A finding counts when it maps to a requirement that can be assessed for your systems. The page says which open findings are waiting and why.
